The current CP isn't actually leaving. One of the big ministries of the church is a Ch...

I have just GOT to tell you all what happened to me Tuesday night while I was preaching. I was at another church preaching here in FL, and they had invited me to come and speak on marriage. They had heard me at another conference where I had brought my message, "The Irresistible Wife." ...

My husband is anointed, chosen by God to do a mighty work AND ON MY NERVES TODAY! He woke up in a foul mood and I felt a defensiveness rise in me. (Down girl) This is an exercise in grace! If the enemy could drive a wedge between us, he would. But I ain't giving him no room! I'm extending grace to my s...

...I leave for my interview. This is for the FULL TIME position, at the church that pretty much every associate/youth/children's/music/whatever else pastor in our district would sell a limb to work in! If any of you read this over the next hour or so, please say a prayer for me! My inte...

Hi ladies, I just wanted to know how do you keep going? This is not the easiest task to accomplish in the world. It is difficult especially when you are a growing ministry and it looks like you are stuck. I am amazed at how my husband hangs in the ministry. You see we s...

Well, Pastor's Appreciation Day is coming up, and I thought I'd share an amusing story with you... One of our board members came up to DH and asked him if he'd be willing to help organize a potluck or something for that day - one of his duties as church administrator is to plan special events. He s...

Well, we successfully pulled off our community Halloween outreach. About 90% of it was pulled out of thin air by my DH! Several of the people who said they were going to bring games didn't show, and he went out about 20 minutes before he had to go to the site and set up and picked up a bunch more games....

Hello ladies, I covet your prayers for protection! I was involved in a road rage incident with a school bus driver. Basically, he ran me off the lane and trapped me so I could not get away. He came up to my window (leaving school kids on the bus alone on a 3 lane blvd). Anyway, he a...

I've mentioned this film a couple of times in my posts...I finally got to see the much-anticipated (at least by people in my hometown!) movie, North Country the other night. It takes place where I grew up, and it is a "based on a true story" movie about the nation's first class-action sexual harr...
