Happy November...

...and happy belated "Pastor's Appreciation Month" to one and all!!

If you haven't yet (I know this has been a busy month - at least for me!), take some time and do something to celebrate...even if you have to light some candles, run a bubble bath, and lock the door for an hour or so!!  Husband optional, lol .

Cute! (The husband optional part.)

Our pastor was so surprised Sunday when, after the service, one of our women popped up and said, "Everyone sit back down. Five minutes!" We presented pastor and his wife with a gift, a card, an offering, a poem, a song and a hug.  He was speechless. Pastor's wife finally said the thank yous.

I had no idea there was such a celebration!

The churches I grew up in, pastors appreciation is whenever the pastor said so! Wow, didn't know it was official somewhere on a national calendar!

Lots to learn! LOL!

LOL!!!  October is "officially" Clergy Appreciation Month, but churches can appreciate their pastors whenever they want.  We do ours in June, which is the anniversary of our senior pastors' service to the church.

It means more to be appreciated "just because," anyway - unfortunately, I seem to be appreciated most often with food .
