Just found this board and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Missy; my DH and I have been married a little over 2 years and been pastoring for a little over 1 1/2 years. We each came into our marriage with a daughter each. They are 21 and 14; we did have a son-in-law, but he is slowly leaving the picture; but we are blessed to have a 4 year old grand daughter and a almost 2 year old chihuahua, rat terrier mix.
I sure wish I would have known about you all a year ago. With everything we have been through it sure would have been nice to have someone to get advice from. Hey, I found you now so look out for the future! No it's not been that bad, but a friend would be great. Someone to vent to or get advice from or give a praise report to.
I'm new to this site as well. We pastor in Central FL. We have 2 daughters in Bible College which is not far from home. 1 daughter lives at home the other on campus. We're enjoying this time in our lives. Its great not having to rush home to cook supper for the kids. They can take care of themselves.
We're glad you found us. Here you will find caring sisters in ministry who listen with a non-judging heart and stand with you and pray for you. We're all on the same team here, and WE UNDERSTAND.
We will hold you up when you need it, and we'll celebrate with you when you have victories.
I am sure you will love it here! Make sure you get some of Deanna's recipies! Lori
