Well, I go on staff at my church next week - on a part time basis for the month of August.
Please keep me in your prayers - I am terrified, to tell you the truth! I guess you could put me in the "once bitten, twice shy" category, and even though I know this church is going to be completely different from any other church I've been a part of or ministered in, and I know that God has called me here and miraculously opened doors and turned my life around since DH and I have been here...but this is it! Moment of truth...
I leave tomorrow to go volunteer at a Christian music festival for the weekend, and then I go into the office on Monday. I'm excited...absolutely blown away by the church I'll be ministering in, but somewhat scared, too!
So if you could keep me in your prayers, that would be fantastic!
First, have fun at the festival. Sounds like you're going to have a blast!!!
Secondly, I know that you are going to do a great job. God has blessed you with a great talent that you are willing to use for Him. And if He has called you (which He has), He will equip you. I know that you are going to come here on the board & tell us of the many wonderful things that God is doing in your ministry & life.
