Well, I'm here!

I'm surrounded by boxes, trying to find stuff, and slowly putting the new apartment together...

It still doesn't feel quite real that we live in the southern tip of Wisconsin now instead of the middle of Minnesota.  I think it will feel more real once I touch base with my new SP and get settled in.

I think I'm really going to enjoy living here...I was on the phone for about 2.5 hours this afternoon, with my mom and also my best friend (who now lives only 3 hours away from me instead of 6, so it's only an hour and a half to meet halfway, which is about the average amount of time we would drive to do anything in the Twin Cities, anyway. *dances and twirls around the room*).

Feeling a bit overwhelmed, VERY tired, but determined to get this apartment together soon.  DH and I are considering being heathens tomorrow morning and not finding an "interim" church to attend until next week .  We are so exhausted!!!

So...tomorrow we think we're going to sleep in as late as our bodies (and our dog, lol!) will let us, work on some more unpacking, and then collect job applications on Monday (temp. for me; permanent for DH - please pray that he gets something fast!).  After that, our friends in the area have started claiming us...

Talk to you later...off to bed!!

Congrats Puppetmaster!

Were you able to sell your home?

Have fun getting all settled in!

I pray you and hubby find favor with employers and they scoop you two up quickly into the workforce!

The house hasn't sold yet...we have 2-3 people who said they are "interested" in making an offer, but nothing in writing yet...

Prayers are appreciated in that area, too .
