DH's "gimpy" condition: He's still in an immobilizer; he's going in tomorrow for his first follow-up appointment since his surgery.  We have some great friends who have offered to give us rides to and from church Sundays and Wednesdays so that we can get here for the time we have left.  We're not sure what we're doing about employment for him, because...

...I just sent out over 1/2 a dozen resumes to different churches in Wisconsin, greater Minnesota, one in Illinois, and one in Nebraska.  Not sure about the last one - it's close to my mom, but not much else!! So he's not really wanting to apply for something else until he knows where we'll be living.

I'm back at my FT day job for now (I was on Christmas break), until I can find FT children's ministry work.  I'll be dealing with all of my medical/dental/vision issues this month while I know I still have health insurance!

I went into Weight Watchers today - I can't afford to pay for meetings every week, but I wanted to weigh in, register, and get all the materials so I can follow the program on my own.  I've gained back all but 8 of the pounds I lost while I was working out at Curves.  Bleh.  But when you fall off the wagon, you dust yourself off and climb back on.  I am determined to be as hot as Deanna by this time next year (heh, heh!).
