We're moving! We're buying our first home...CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? GOD IS SO GOOD.
We agreed to the terms yesterday, signed the papers this morning. We close on June 18th! Whoo! Whoo!!! I can hardly believe it.
This summer is going to be busy for me with ministry and moving, but WELL WORTH IT.
This house is 13 minutes from our church. (My current home is exactly 10 minutes from the church, so it's not that big a change) but my kids will have to change schools, but they are not complaining. They took one look at the house and said, 'LET'S MOVE.'
We love our current home, (that we rent) but God had something up his sleeve even better for us. (Never say no to the Lord.)
Please be in prayer for us.........we have lots to do over the coming weeks...I'm leaving to preach in Ft. Myers this morning.......we have weeks coming up in ministry here that are busier than ever before.......company coming in....my biggest outreach of the year......and I'M MOVING! But, GOD KNOWS. I'm sure we'll have lots of help, but all I thinking is, "Oh gosh, I have to pack up this house again..."
I am so happy for you! I know what that feeling is like! The sense of empowerment... The sense of ownership... The sense that I am responsible... Oh I am sorry I meant the cents of empowerment, the cents of ownership, the cents that I am responsible... SMILE!!
Thank you for this month's Nitty Gritty... Although Danielle is my daughter of the heart, I have struggled with infertility and its devastating effects, yet I have more children than most... I receive because I believe!
I know how wonderul you must feel. I pray that once you move in that it will be even better than what you expected. That is the kind of God that we serve!
