We have a financial need that only God can meet. We are praying for a specific amount that is needed to take the stress off my DH. Please Pray God meets this need.

we need direction. My DH and I have been in ministry for 16 years and for the last 1 1/2 years we have been praying and seeking ministry opportunities (open churches). He is growing weary and I just don't know how to encourage him to keep trying. We just don't know how much longer we are to keep trying. Please pray God shows us either a set ministry He has for us to start or get involved with or that we are to keep seeking an open church.
I will pray for you. God is faithful and will always meet your needs. Praying also that God will open the doors to ministry for you and your husband. We are waiting on Him to do the same.
Mspeabody: First let me say welcome to the boards. The PPN is a group of some of the most amazing women that I know (and don't know.) These ladies are so understanding & wise. I could not have made it through these last several years without them.
I will be lifting you up to the Father. He knows exactly what you need & He is not surprised. I am believing for that financial miracle for your family.
Waiting is so hard in ministry. My dh & I have recently come out of the waiting period. It was so tough, but I can say with complete confidence that God brought us to a church that was worth waiting for. During this time I read Stormie O'martian's book, Just Enough Light for the Step I'm On. One thing that she said really hit home with me, "Trusting God is trusting God's timing." The day I finally prayed, "God, I trust Your timing," was the day that we received the first call from our church. Do trust that you are in my prayers. I will be praying and believing that God not only leads & directs & brings encouragement to you & dh during this time, but that He will bring tangible encouragement to you as well.
Thank you all for your prayers. They are very appreciated! We are still seeking our Lord for direction but have decided to take some time to just heal and rest. It's what we need and just haven't taken the time to do so. I will let you know how we are doing.
