Deanna, you were right

Well, looks as if CA & all family are out of the church.  (Sad part is, I'm going to really miss his niece & her family) From my previous post, I told you that the CA told one of our church leaders that he was going to do one last thing in the church, & he was leaving.  (Remember, CA has hardly said 2 words to dh in four months, so he sure wasn't going to tell dh that he was leaving.) I wasn't sure about his wife who had put up a big bulletin board display in her classroom, etc.  You were right, Deanna, she is leaving in "all her glory."

Well, there was a pastor/board training for a group of churches last night.  Dh did not invite the CA because CA said he was leaving the church.  CA got mad at dh (agaain), & he sent an email to dh saying that they were leaving & that his wife & niece were resigning their classroom.  He (his wife) also said something that I thought was really weird, "You're getting what you prayed for.  And you better be careful what you pray for."  Sounds a little ominous.

I know that CA was just waiting for something to happen to use as an excuse to leave, so he can go out in a puff.  I don't know if he is thinking that there will be people that leave w/ him, besides family.  If so, they need to leave.  They are there for the wrong reason.  We know that he has gone around spreading lies.  For sure, it is good riddance.  But it is hard to know that there are people not at church because of his poison.

To be honest, I really need prayer.  I am just feeling "blah" with one of my really bad headaches.  I don't really feel like doing the whole p.w. thing tonight, but I must go.

Thanks all!

Tracy

Truth stands naked in the street.  The truth will come out.

Realize first of all that if people are not there because of his mouth, they are obviously shallow people and you don't have their loyalty.  They are deceived and led astray by him BUT.............the truth of the matter is, they are not ultimately loyal to you becuase they have believed him.  So in he long run you are better off without them.

I used to get so upset by people being deceived and leaving.  I would think, "my poor sheep...they are being led away..." but then I realized...what was in their heart that they listened to them in the first place?  Why did they allow the doorway in the first place?  Why were they open to listening to that crap at all???

All you can do is warn your sheep and teach on these things before this stuff happens and hope they "get it" but sometimes, they don't!  And seeing them as casualties is so hard...............

Thank God your CA's left - I told you they would try to go out in all their glory.  They want to be seen as leaving a legacy.  Next they will be devastated that you do not mention them once they leave or pay homage to the many things they did for the church.  Just keep your head up and keep going.  They are gone.  Move on...through the desert...into the promised land!
