Children's Ministry

I will be taking over children's ministry for our new church and was hoping puppetmaster and any other willing helpers would direct me to some encouraging websites, curriculum ideas, etc.

Thanks!

www.kidology.org is one of my favorite web sites - you have to subscribe to get all of the resources available, but it is pretty reasonable.

I've also gone to www.jamiedoyle.com - Jamie is a children's pastor in our district, and he has set up a web site with articles by himself and other children's pastors/workers, as well as a page with links to all sorts of helpful resources.

As far as curriculum goes, we use Gospel Publishing House for our Sunday School.  I've been using a curriculum called "Noah's Park," by David C. Cook publishing for children's church.  We don't have enough $$ for a really good Wednesday night curriculum, so DH and I are sort of inventing our own...I'll post more details on that when I have them written out .

Hope that helps!!

I am a huge www.egadideas.com fan. This is a great site for games. It's great for children & youth ministry.

thanks!

I have known this was coming and really want to see our children's ministry take off.  One thing I would love to do is human video and creative drama witht them.
