I'm asking for all the prayer I can get, from anyone who will pray:

In two days, our church's FIRST EVER Kids' Crusade kicks off, ending with a HUGE community barbecue on Sunday afternoon.  This is my first time ever preaching at a kids' crusade, and our church's first foray into something this big.  I need prayer for:

• MAJOR anointing - that I wll preach exactly what God wants me to say!


• I am really, really, really nervous about this event.  Last year, VBS was a bust.  I have more support and more help, and tons more advertising on my side this year, but I am still struggling with shaking the dust of that flop from my feet and moving on to victory!!


• Spirit of unity and cooperation among workers - that the enemy would not "divide and conquer," so to speak.


• Every detail to fall into place - DH is going to give himself an ulcer with all of the details that he is in charge of as church administrator.


• Lots of kids and families to come - we're believing for at least 500 to come through on Sunday, but I want the seats filled Friday and Saturday nights, too!!


• Physical and emotional health of all involved...I have to go back to work Monday morning when this is all over, and YP has to head off to senior high camp (the family barbecue is for the whole church, not just children's ministries).  SP is going to Disneyworld, the lucky dog .


• Again, that CA will be changed by the power of the Holy Spirit, or that God would send her on her way.

We have already seen proof of God's faithfulness - Exactly a week and a half after one of our most faithfully giving families moved away, was when a family who had left the church called the SP, apologized to him, and asked if it would be okay if they came back.  Why?  Partially because they saw a flier for the Summer Splash event!!

I believe that God is coming in like a flood.  It has been prophesied over our church and our community, and I think that this may be the springboard for that happening.  But that is why the enemy has been trying to hard to stop it.  We've been not just covering, but BATHING it in prayer, but I don't think I've ever felt so under spiritual attack (I am better this week than I was before, but I still have my moments!)...
