What about your kids birthday parties? What do you do?
(The baby is turning one this week. I can't believe it. We're having a family thing today.)
But what about the older kids. Who can you invite w/o making others feel bad? I would like to throw a b'day party for DS3 in October. I would like to invite kids his age. Then what about the siblings of those kids. (Some families have 8 kids in the family.) There would be a couple of other families in the church that I am close to & would like to come, but then that would be opening a whole other can of worms.
To date w/ DS8 I have excluded church people so as not to offend anyone, but that doesn't seem right to my son.
I have seen people say "rsvp please any siblings between the ages of this and that" to keep the numbers controllable. THye kind of get the hint that it isnt for everyone and you'd appreciate not having everyone and their cousin just show up.
