There has been a major shift in our ministry. And by shift (overused word I know) I mean a major change to a way of thinking. And it has freed us completely. We faced a hard truth that we're not like everybody else in the ministry. God gave us the vision. We're responsible for making sure it gets carried out. Even in scripture...not every one was seeing third heavens and visions to wonderful to be spoken as in the Apostle Paul. We're not all the same.
So we're shifting resources around and wouldn't you know one of the church leaders complains! Oh they don't like the change one bit. Said it felt like a demotion since we asked them to take over something I'D BEEN DOING! If you can't clean a bathroom in this ministry and just want a microphone...we have a problem. If you can't carry out a request, you have a problem with submission to leadership and your motives are in the wrong place.
This simply tells me that we're doing it right. That we're doing what needed to be done. Leaders lead. Novel idea isn't it? And when you do flow in your God-given authority, people will get mad!
