We brought a young lady and her family into our home. They were in a very bad domestic situation. Real bad. Talked this woman off the ledge spiritually. Poured and ministered. They move into our home and violated it. The drama was unreal! OMG! The amount of dysfunction coupled with the amount of deliverance needed was too much. I don't doubt God's ability to heal and deliver. The word was that healing would occur but that it happen one layer at a time. Trust me, the issues were MANY and deep.
Our ministry is being called into question, the gifts and calling belittled. Ate up our food, used up our resources. Unbelievable.
They finally left our home and we're all breathing a sigh of relief.
Oh my! So glad you are done with that. I am guessing she has moved on as well and is no longer a part of the ministry at the church?

We've had situations too where we have moved people in and tried to help them and it has never worked and been just as you described.
Why people can't see what a blessing you have done for them and respect you to the utmost for what you've done...and follow the expectations of the house makes no sense. But we have BTDT and it is frustrating for sure.
I have had to think, maybe that's why they are where they are? Some people are great talkers with a sob story, for sure. And if you have any compassion/mercy in you at all they can really pull on the heartstrings.
I feel like I lost two months of my life. Holy Spirit showed me in a dream that there was this small whiny, loud, obnoxious thing in a corner. I mean it was making a horrible noise. I was trying to console it. Then something within me stood me straight up and I realized that there was something greater, that something else was going on that needed my attention. That the small, whiny, obnoxious thing throwing a fit in the corner was not the real issue. I needed to tend to something weightier.
Holy Spirit is soooo smart.
Getting back on the straight and narrow so to speak...

Isn't it just like satan to send in the yippy yappy dogs to get your focus off the big picture. So glad that God showed you that it was time to shut the yippy dogs mouth! Something God has been showing me a lot of lately...Gotta get to real issue and stop dealing with the little fires! Praying for you!
