Silly clothing question...

...for all you female pastors who have conducted wedding ceremonies before:

What do you wear?  I'm conducting my first wedding in a couple of weeks, and I'm definitely thinking a suit.  But do I go with basic black (which seems a bit "funeralish," especially for a mid-day June wedding!), or wear one that complements the colors of the bridesmaids' dresses?  Obviously, I know to stay away from white...anyone who wears white to a wedding other than the bride looks kind of funny, in my opinion!

Not a major area of stress...I know I have plenty of suits/nice outfits that will work...I'm just curious to hear how others have handled it...

I wear a dress suit, and normally black.  That is what my dh wears and I feel it's appropriate for the solemnness of the occasion, although it is a happy one, it is one where utmost reverence is communicated.

Puppetmaster is A/G as I am an in our tradition robes aren't worn generally although there would be nothing wrong with it if she did and may even be a really nice unique touch that our fellowship doesn't normally experience.  I have thought of doing it myself, but when I checked out robes I was like, "Wow, the expense!"
