overwhelmed...

This is my first post here. I am so deeply in need of prayer right now. I have been in ministry for the past 9 years. A year ago I moved to a new town, and began ministry in a new church- and- oh my- the emotional and spiritual need here is overwhelming me!

Please pray - I'm not even sure what prayer to ask for! I am tired, I am frustrated, I am discouraged, I am drained, and I am overwhelmed. And to top it off- I am greiving because my ministry partner- who is also my pastor and my dearest friend- will be leaving the middle of November.

Please pray that our precious, gracious, compassionate Lord will refresh me, comfort me, strengthen me, protect me from the arrows of the enemy, and that He will restore my Joy in Him.

Thank you
Pam

Dear Lord,
Please touch Pam today.  Give her strength.  Give her peace. Please reveal Your presence to her & let her know that she is not alone.
In Jesus name,
Amen

Hi, Pam:  Welcome to the Board.  There are a great group of women who post here.  Feel free to share.  We all understand what you're going through.  I'm praying for you.
Love,
Trace

Pam,

Sounds like to me that you might be suffering from some burn out. Doing too much for others and draining yourself out. I understand that too. Take the time to have an "getaway day or weekend". You need to be refreshed, energized etc, in health and in the Word. You cannot pour into others what you do not have. I will pray for you as well. New things and changes do bring about emotions and a since of loss. But know that as you rest in the shadow of His wings, that He will mount you up on wings of Eagles and let you soar. He is your strong tower and shelter from the storm. Let this new season bring the goodness of God into Your life and taste and see that He is good, and the things in your new season will not taste bitter. Trust in Him, seek HIs Kingdom first, and all these things will be added to you.
Rest in Him!
