Mark has finally chosen a college!

Ladies,
Two weeks ago at church,  Mark asked SP for the pulpit for sharing his testimony and his call to prolife ministry.  I was very proud of him,  and he just brought the house down.  He has also been going round and round for a year about what kind of degree to work towards, and where to go to school.  On Monday, we went to hear a friend of ours, Scott Klusendorf, the greatest Christian apologist in the country, give some guest lectures at Bryan in Dayton Tennessee.  Mark has finally chosen Bryan Christian College and he will get his degree in Science with a minor in history.  Part of the program will be apologetics, and Bible which will add so much to our ministry as a couple.  He will be applying in a couple of weeks to the local school board, at the behest of the HR lady who is the wife of an AP at our church.  He will be working as a sub. teacher part time while he earns his degree.  For someone who was convinced just a few short years ago that he had no future,  he sure is kicking that old lying devil to the curb! Please pray for him as he begins the long dreary process of acceptance into the school. A teaching degree also means our summers will be free for missions projects,  and if we want to, we'll be able to apply to the NAMB as paid missionaries. Blessings, Lori

LOL!!  This is great news!!

I'm not on vacation...just in the middle of our Kids' Crusade (first night was tonight!), so obviously I've been buried in planning it for the past couple of weeks.  My life will be (somewhat!) my own again starting Thursday :o).

I have been in bed for a while, fell at choir practice.  We are very excited,  and he has began his pathway towards teaching with applying to the local board as a sub.  I have watched the DVD of his first time in the pulpit over and over.  I am so proud!  I am glad our SP was here to see it before leaving us for full time evangelism. BTW,  we are searching for a new SP! Any ideas, let me know. It's a large church, 1600 on the rolls and 800 regulars. God Bless, Lori
