I really want to go, but all the women in ministry or pastoring partners I know are not available that weekend (PW is on a missions trip; BFF will be two weeks away from her due date, and her sister -also a CP - won't want to go for that same reason!). I have no problem traveling on my own...I'm actually kind of excited about that part of it.
But I don't really want to spend the whole weekend alone. So if there's anyone on this board who's thinking about going, let's try to connect! FYI, location-wise, I'm exactly an hour from Chicago and an hour from Milwaukee. I'm hoping to fly out of Milwaukee, because I loathe O'Hare, lol! But I would be willing to make the sacrifice if it worked better for someone else . Or if you're (meaning anyone!) nowhere near me, let's try to figure out a meeting place. I'd even make a sign with my name on it out of bright pink glitter so you knew who I was at the airport!!
This is, of course, subject to my SP's approval of my even going. I'm just putting my feelers out and trying to semi-plan ahead!!
Ladies - our goal is to send out the packets tomorrow - it's been a major task to get them together...but I think you'll like what you see. Something should get to you in the mail VERY soon. God willing we'll have them assembled by tomorrow aft. I'll keep you posted.

Packets were mailed today. We mailed 1,000 of them. It's bulk mail so probably won't reach you for at least a week. Be watching. It'll be a brown envelope (large envelope) that says, "UNSTOPPABLE".
If you are coming and need a roommate to share with, I can't promise I can definitely find you one or match you up with someone but I will try my best to connect you. Hopefully some of you right here on the board can connect and make the arrangements however you want. I know Puppetmaster is looking for a roommate...maybe you and Pastor Tara can connect? The rest of you, post here if you are interested in finding someone.
I have been out of town for our wedding anniversary. My dh surprised the family with a vacation in a condo on the ocean. But I am looking forward to my envelope! Are you mailing them to our churches or our homes? You have my home address...so I'll be watching. I am excited. Blessings.
Hello Pastoring Partners! I just received my Unstoppable envelope today. It sounds very very good, Pastor Deanna! I like what Pastor Lindsay will be speaking on and hope to get staffers or armorbearers there too. I will be praying and fasting for this event for certain!
For those unable to attend, your prayer for the speakers and attendees is so vital . This sounds like a unique and practical conference for women who feel more of a call than merely being labeled as "the pastor's wife". Co-pastoring is a unique calling that not many understand. Thank you ,Deanna, for being such an encouragement to we who partner as one with our dh's.
