Hi, Ladies: Our best friends' 5/6 month old son, Jonathon, is having surgery on his head/skull tomorrow. He was born w/ craniosyntosis, which is premature fusion of the skull / soft spots in the skull. The doctors have to literally cut his skull & try to reshape it.
Please pray for Jonathon & the family. Also keep our family in prayer. We've had an unexpected situation arise.

I pray that God will give the surgeons and the medical staff divine wisdom and insight. I pray that God will guide the hands of the surgeon throughout the surgery. I pray for the best possible outcome and that God will get the glory out of Jonathan's testimony of what God can do. I also pray that your family will be strong in the Lord and continue to walk by faith. This is my prayer in JESUS' name. AMEN.
Jonathon made it through surgery. He lost quite a bit of blood so they've had to give him some. The next few hours are really critical. He was taken to ICU immediately after surgery. His whole head is wrapped except for an opening for his mouth. He is responsive this morning, clinging to his mother's finger. Thank you all for the prayers & please keep them coming. Having a new baby myself, I am in tears praying for this baby now. May he have peace and a speedy recovery! The Lord is his refuge and healer and peace in the midst of storm. Cassandra
God was definitely w/ Jonathon yesterday. He had a very close call when they took him off the respirator. But he made it through. His parents were able to hold him yesterday afternoon. Prayerfully, he may get moved to another room today. Thank you for your continued prayers. Trace
