Books and quotes

I have ordered my book Breaking Intimidation! I also ordered another book on discernment. I was captured by the quote, "discernment without love is critical judgement." Oh how well have I been privy to someone's "discernment!"

For every married woman or soon to be married woman I'd recommend For Women Only: What You Need to Know about the Inner Lives of Men by Shaunti Feldhahn. This book blessed me and I know it will bless you too! I didn't get to finish it because I passed it on to another married woman! I needed this book when I FIRST got married...LOL!

Awesome - I know you will love the Bevere book.

Interesting that you should mention the Feldhahn book.  I got the one for men for one of our staff members who is getting married, but I'll get the woman one too for his fiancee, plus read it myself.  Thanks for the tip!

GRRR...that book isn't available through my library system (Plenty of books by LISA Bevere...but none by her husband, lol!).  Looks like I'll have to buy it!

That is, after I get through the three books that I need to finish...re-reading "Transforming Children into Spiritual Champions," reading and discussing "The Pursuit of God" in our staff meetings, and YP lent me another book called "The Next Generation Leader."  I'm a little bit hesitant to read it, because I don't want to give him the idea that he's "mentoring" me...but the title was too intriguing to pass up!!  Free reading material...gotta love it, no matter where it comes from.
