Exhausted and Tired

Remember me and our church family in prayer this weekend. I still don't have the keys to the bldg and its the first. Leasing agent says I should have by noon. I'm too tired to be frustrated right now.

We've got so much moving and setting up to do. Not to mention we have a 9 am street evangelism event tomorrow morning and we've got guest churches coming to help. *sigh* It's going to be a long night...I had to come in to work today and ran three errands before getting here. I'm glad for the initial delay because Monday is a holiday and we're all going to need it to recover from this weekend.

Every night it's been a string of things to do in preparation for this weekend. At least I plan well and got started early. I'd be really nuts if some of that stuff were still lingering over my head.

I declare next year this time, I'll have some EXCELLENT administrative help!

And Sr. Pastor aka hubby who chilled every evening while I was out running around bet' not say two words when I sit on my seat of do nothing when he's got to set up sound etc. and he's worn out! That's not wrong of me is it? LOL!

I'm really too pooped to be excited now. It's been a long, drawn out process and I'm tired. Had I known they were going to take up to the wire to have the bldg ready I would have put off the celebration a week. But they made all kinds of promises that the bldg would be ready early. Next time I know not to believe it!

At work, sleepy and in need of a massage...

I understand exactly where you are coming from.  Don't feel bad at all...take a rest while hubby sets everything up.  You deserve it!

Love you and happy for you about the building...

I will remember you and your church in prayer.  Be sure and use your "do nothing seat" when you hubby gets to work.  I'm sure, if he is anything like my dh, he put his to good use while you ran your self to near exhaustion.  We love them anyway. Hope you have a great weekend and a relaxing holiday!

I've got the key. Wow.

They were so behind that they didn't have the bldg key maintenance used switched out. So the locksmith will meet us while we're unloading to change the locks.

I had a carload full of stuff so I was happy to unload in our new building...woohoo! Smells of paint and new carpet. It's really ours now. Wow.

Once this hunger/stress headache goes away...I should be fine.

Now, just for 4:30 to get here!

I give God mad praise.

Thank you Jesus.

Woo-hoo!!!!  You're in!!!  I think it's time for some retail therapy .

I hear ya on the husband front.  I love mine to pieces, but I really think that sometimes he's oblivious to everything that needs to be done in any given situation.  Oh, well - we married men, not women - and I like it that way, lol!!!

Hoping and praying all continues to go well for you and your church!

Sr. Pastor earned his keeps last night. He loaded the trailer by himself with all the chairs, all the big heavy sound equipment by himself in 90 degree humid weather.

We got home after 11 last night. Got mostly everything set up. We're taking the organ this morning and some other things.

But it looks wonderful. Need a pretty faux flower arrangement for the front of the church.

Still keep us in your prayers.
