We were tremendously blessed this past Saturday at the parenting seminar. No, tons more people did not sign up or come at the door to register! However, the Lord helped me to see WAY beyond the numbers attending.
Major praise report: ALL of the parents of teens in our congregation attended!! In prayer I was reminded that our vision for this seminar was to encourage parents (in our congregation & the community) and that was definitely accomplished. One lady from a neighboring church came to me with tears in her eyes thanking us for hosting the speaker. She is a single mother with four teens and was feeling 'at the end of her rope' with the pressure of responsibility. The instruction we received gave her tools to keep moving forward....Wow, I can't put a price on that!

It's amazing how God does that. Thankfully you got your spiritual eyes on before the seminar!!! And you were able to clearly see God's plan for this time.
I am realizing...God loves our people and our churches far more than we do. We get so worked up over things sometimes and God is thinking, "I want to bless this even more than you want it to be blessed!!!" What a good God He is!

That is awesome leading lady! It is exciting when God blesses in ways we never expect. Just having the parents attend is way more than wonderful.. it is a "God thing"!
