Haven't been here in awhile to post...

but I do keep up with everyone's posts and pray for your situations.  We are going through a transition here ourselves.... we have basically been home missionaries/ church planters in the city of St. Louis and have just merged our church with another church and are praying for new direction for our personal ministry.  We know it will not be here so that means finding out what is out there!  Please pray for us as the churches we have pastored have basically 'fallen into place' without the whole candidating thing.

Thanks for your prayers!

Boy, are we in the same boat or what?  We've never done the interviewing/candidating thing ourselves, either - as you said, all our ministries have pretty much "fallen into place."

I'll keep you in my prayers as well!!

Why don't we find a great church to pastor and then we can take you with us as children's pastor!  The only problem may be logistics as I am a southern girl through and through...... I have never been North of Ohio! Seriously, thanks for your prayers.  I know things will come together for you and your ministry!

Does this mean that someone else will be pastoring the church/churches that you planted? So, you are now free to form another church. That's good news. Obviously, you do that well.

Once a job is complete there is always that ummmm unsettled feeling that comes until clear direction comes from the Lord. So, sit back, relax and wait on Him. (PS: I'll be praying for you)

Hey Spiritled,

I will remember you in prayer.  I know you're a southern girl.  Are you open to FL?  I say that because while we are as south as you can get, it's not exactly the "southern" atmosphere here, as you know southern.  It's more multi-cultural, not really where they are bringing out the biscuits and gravy.    Ha!  Ha!  It's more like bring out the cuban sandwich and the cafe con leche!  (and I love it!)  Anyway, let me know if you have interest in FL.  I'll keep my eyes and ears open and let you know of open churches if you would like.  I will e-mail you privately about them if you would like.

Love,

Deanna

Deanna,

Actually Florida is one of the places we have talked about.  I am currently taking Spanish classes at the community college and we love the multicultural ministry.  I would love it if you could let me know what you hear!  Thanks and blessings. going to go read the nitty gritty now!
