I wanted to let you know that my husband has been called to a new place of ministry here in SC. It will be at Reedy River Baptist Church in Travelers Rest SC and we are so excited! The congregation heard his trial sermon today and voted 133-1 (99.2%) in favor of us coming. It was so awesome. When he stood up to preach it was like he was home. He preached so strong and sure.I could tell the Spirit was with him and I was so proud of him.
We have been really struggling over the last year about where we should be and had been talking with this church since Jan. So we are glad to have this phase behind us. We will move the first week in June and start our new ministry June 13th. Please continue to pray for us as we tell the church here . We have a lot of sweet people here but our ministry is finished in this place and we are ready to move forward. God is working even when we can't see it.
I am so excited for you! I've been thinking of you in this transition time. I'll be praying with you that God will do something incredible in your new place of ministry. Go, girl! I'm proud of you.
