I'm back

I guess you could say that this is the week of the comeback. I think that there is a message in that.  Wooo!    Anywho, I am sorry that I have not emailed or posted to the site in so long.  I have really missed you ladies.  I prayed for you during Christmas that all would be well with you and your family. I have been sick since the latter part of October.  I had these debilitating headaches called cluster headaches.  They were the worst thing that I have ever experienced.  They made labor pains seem like a cakewalk.  I thank God that in December He healed me from those headaches.  Hallelujah!

Also, just when things seemed to be really bad, God turned our situation around.  Dh and I are fairing better than ever.  He asked me to preach at our New Year's Eve service.  I did, and it was awesome!  Praise the Lord!

Also, dh got a job with Clemson University where they are paying him to do ministry!  Only God could work things out so wondrously.  He works for an outreach program of Clemson.  His job is to help families with young children who need assistance.  The famillies that they adopt every year for Christmas, they work with them throughout the year so that by the next Christmas they will be self-sufficient.  The area that he is assigned to is where are church is.  They know that he is a pastor, and he can offer spiritual help to those who are interested without getting in trouble on his job.  As a matter of fact, we have partnered with them before he started working there.  They are very supportive of churches getting involved in what they are trying to do.  Amazing!

They also pay him enough that I do not need to work full time at a secular job anymore and he has benefits.  That being the case, I am going to seminary full time so that I can finish up faster, and I am working at the church, buidling the ministry.   Even I did not see how God was going to do do it, but He did.  My focus is now working in ministry, which I wanted so badly to happen in 2006 and Dh started his new job on 1/3/06.   As the older saints used to say, He may not come when you want Him, but He is always on time!

2006 - The Year of Fulfillment and Manifestation...   That is the word that was brought to us in our recent leadership meeting...   I am so glad for you (Queen of Agape) that you are already experiencing the best of what God has for you, I know it has been a long time coming...

I have been experiencing some special craziness but in the midst of that I see God breaking me out of some of my long-held issues and phobias, God is maturing me in terms of my family concerns (i.e. my relationship with my parents) and is teaching me how to say no in a "yes ma'am/sir world".

Nevertheless, when I come to town we must leave our mark in Commerce.

Hi, Lady T:

Been missing you. Glad to know that you are feeling better & thrilled to know that you are seeing the desires of your heart fulfilled.

And Clemson University ... This die-hard FSU (Go Noles!) fan has to be happy for you as that's where Coach Bowden's son is.

Praying you have a blessed year!

Amen Flow.  I am all for the Commerce Connection (or Concord for that matter).  For those of you who don't know, these are both malls that had to be conceived by a holy woman of God.

On a more serious note, you are right about this being the year of manifestation.  Psalms 126:5-6 says, those who plant in tears will harvest with shouts of joy.  They that wept as they went out to plant with rejoice as they return with a great harvest.  The crop that others said would be lost, God is going to produce an even greater harvest that we can handle.  So many others will be blessed as well from our increase in 2006.

Many of us have sewn in tears, but we kept sewing.  Now we are reaping and we will continue to reap in joy.  Quoting Donald Lawrence, "We ain't seen nothing yet!"

Luv,

T

Thanks, Lady T for that Scripture verse.  I was feeling discouraged w/ church today, and found encouragement in your verse.  This is one that I will put up & read every day.
