How do you deal with "spirit killers?"

I call them "spirit killers" because I don't know of another word. You know the person...that "sweet" Sister so & so who catches you or you hubby right before church to complain about something, usually something stupid. Then it's time to get to the piano for praise & worship & you can't think of anything else. And five hours later you're still thinking of the same thing.

I was just thinking about this before I saw your post. Unreal!!!

I think we need others to help us deal with them. I'm in the process of trying to solve this for myself right now. For me that's going to entail trying to get someone to be with me before all services who will be assigned to me for that service. It's hard to find such a person because if most people are "qualified" to do this, they already have a ministry assignment in the building, or they have kids to attend to.

I really need someone to help me with this right now. I can see I'm not alone...

Love you
