Hello all! I am so happy that I found this site. I am a little new at this and it sure is a struggle to stay positive. My husband and I moved to a TINY TINY town in Southwest TX in July. This is our first church. He is the youth pastor here and MAN is it hard. I don't think it is as hard for him as it is for me. We live over 1500 miles away from any family or friends and it has been so lonely and depressing here. There is nothing here to do, I can't find work anywhere, and boy is it hard to make ends meet sometimes on a youth pastor salary. It is so hard here bc the town is so small... a lot of gossipping going one.... and the church is also small so it is hard to get anything different to happen-even with the youth. This town and church is so broken, yet no one wants to make changes to reach more people. It's heartbreaking. I am so glad I found this site filled with wonderful women who can relate and who understand. Please just keep us in your prayers! God Bless!
This is a great place for support. We "get" what you are going through. Many of us have walked the same path or close to it and are here to give advice, encouragement, ect. Most importantly a place to share your prayer requests, frustrations, ect. without any judgement. Welcome to the family!
