If you've got one, you'll appreciate this. Yesterday, my teen asked if she could testify. Of course we said yes! She went on to say that during a competition Saturday there was a lot of drama going on and she pulled some other teens to the side to pray. Then she said worship happened. The song...O come let us adore Him... Christ the Lord...For He alone is Worthy started and the kids were blessed during the worship and prayer.
Sometimes, you wonder if it's getting in...all the stuff you pour into your kids. Now mind you, we sat down and talked about the competition but that part of it never came up. Totally blew us away Sunday.
Well after her testimony, there wasn't a dry eye in the place and worship errupted again.
I am truly grateful today. So if you've got a teen, keep pouring! They can frustrate you at times I know! But God is faithful!
Thanks, I really needed to hear this today. Mine were so frustrated yesterday. Last night I asked a friend, "How does anyone live through this?" Love ya...
O God, we asked ourselves this when she first started middle school! Things have gotten so much better. She'll start high school next year. I've had other parents tell me middle school is drama filled. If you can survive it, you can survive anything.
Lord I'm praying for uneventful high school years.
I'll get a reprieve since my youngest just started elementary school this year. I'm so glad I just have two - it's all I could manage.
