My praise report: If you remember, I asked prayer for my brother in his custody battle w/ his ex-wife. She had hired an attorney & he couldn't afford one. Today was court. The judge granted my brother continued primary custody of his oldest daughter. His son will stay w/ the ex, but the judge ordered the ex to follow visitation guidelines. (My brother had not had my nephew on a weekend since July.) Plus the ex has to pay court costs. God is good. Thank you for your prayers.
Urgent prayer needs:
My niece (about 2 months now) was taken to the hospital tonight. She quit breathing today. The doctors do not know what is wrong w/ her. Please remember her.
Also, my sister Trina (the baby's mother) just returned to work last week. She is a kindegarten teacher @ a local public school. One of her students' fathers has threatened to kill her. Her student came to her this week & told her "my dad knows what car you drive & where you live" & proceeded to give her the details. The police are involved. And my sis is scared. Please pray for her protection.
Please pray for my father. He is an A/G pastor. He woke up a week ago today w/ Bealls Palsey (spelling?). The side of his face is paralyzed. He is some better but he still cannot shut his eye. We are concerned b/c his mother had a brain tumor on the same nerve that causes the Bealls Palsey. We are concerned that he may also have a brain tumor.
And finally, please pray for a miracle for us. The transmission went out in our van. We do not have the resources to have it fixed. Plus, we're still paying for the van. We are down to a very small car (for the 5 of us) that is also barely running.
