I think it was Puppetmaster that coined the term church antagonist - CA for short - for those people who are constantly causing problems in the church.
In our case, the CA left our church about a month ago & started going to a church down the street. But he has not stopped causing problems for us. He is now going door to door to people in our church, inviting them to the church down the road & spreading purposeful lies about dh & the church. People are finally starting to see through him & his family, I think. But he is definitely out to destroy dh & our church. I still don't get it. We did nothing to him, just didn't allow him to stay in control of the church. One of the ladies who had been caught up w/ some of his stuff called dh this week to tell him of her latest visit w/ the CA. She told the CA that God said not to touch His annointed. The CA replied, "But the pastor is not annointed. He is a liar." There's nothing that we can do to stop him, but pray. God WILL deal w/ him.
