It's been a while ladies...I need your prayers & insight.

Wow.  It's been a while since I've been on the boards & boy have they changed.  I used to get on every morning at work, but they blocked this site & so I got out of the habit of  coming here.  (Pastor Deanna I am able to read your blog at work & I do every morning.)  I love you ladies & think that you all are WONDERFUL!!

I do need your prayers & insight. First of all, my family has really been coming under attack physically.  The latest:  I went for my annual ob/gyn appt today & the doctor found a couple of moles/growths & said that I needed to get to a dermatologist right away.  Needless to say I'm very scared.  My husband has also been battling an ongoing infection since January that has really taken a toll physically, emotionally, & spiritually.  I have felt in my spirit that it is an attack from the devil.

Now for your wisdom & insight.  My kid's bus driver is a sour, mean old man, 70+, who also happens to go to our church.  He's not happy with us right now & he's taking it out on my kids.  He's harsh on all the kids, but I think he expects my kids to be perfect b/c they are pk's.  (My kids are 13, 8, & 6 now.)  I also think he's coming after us by attacking our kids.  I work 45 minutes away, so I can't take them to school or pick them up.  You know the pastorate...my husband's not always able to do it either. We've done our best to support the bus driver & teach our kids that as Christians we must respect authority. At the same time, I'm tired of my kids, especially my 13 year old, being caught in a battle that's not his.

Thanks in advance for your prayers & all your wisdom.

Love ya'll & have missed ya'll
Trace

I would have to agree that it does in fact sound like a spiritual attack. What to do with the bus driver....hmmm I will have to think on that one but want you to know that I will be praying for him and for the kids and for you and your dh. HATE HATE HATE when our kids get caught in the middle! Will be praying and if God gives me some insight or advice I will share it with you.

Thanks Melissa for your prayers.  One amazing praise report:  My husband went to a new doctor today.  She was able to tell him w/ absolute certainty what was going on & how it needed to be treated.  She told him that it would take a while for him to completely heal, but that he should be feeling better soon.  He has been fighting this since January.  Needless to say, I have one happy husband.

I was able to make an appointment w/ the dermatologist for this Thursday.  I'm glad that I won't have to wait long.

Please continue w/ the prayers.  Thanks so much.  Love you ladies!
Tracy

Hi Trace,
Just saw this...I've been a bit overwhelmed lately.  My heart goes out to you with all of this and I'm lifting you up for the total resolution of all of these things.

I love you

Hi Trace! Will keep you and the fam in my prayers too. Our son hated riding the bus and fortunately our neighbor always drove their kids to school and so he caught a ride. Do you have trusted neighbors who could do the same?

Much love,

Send-Judah (yes still using my moniker here!)
