I am working on my sermon for tomorrow but I just HAD to stop and share this!
My husband took some of our men from the church to Montgomery yesterday for some services with Jamal Harrison Bryant. The event was actually hosted by SisterKeepers and Drs. Lee and Yvonne Capehart. Well, Craig called me last night at about quarter to 12 and was bursting.
Jamal Harrison Bryant had missed his flight so he was not there. So, Yvonne Capehart stepped up. Craig said at first he was a little down, but knew he was there for a reason. Well, Yvonne began by sharing that she actually felt led to take an earlier flight yesterday and had a series of God ordained events take place as a result of her obedience which included leading someone to Christ in a restaurant. Anyway, she began to preach. This woman is DYNAMITE- I mean, talk about a fireball. She was closing then looked over to where Craig was sitting. This auditorium was PACKED out! I mean PACKED. She looks at Craig and says, "You're a preacher aren't you." He said, "Yes." She asked him to come up front and literally READ HIS MAIL! She told him stuff we've been going through, stuff we had come out of and then summed up where we were going. She said, "Your ministry is about to explode. God has anointed you to reach your region and the nations. She said that there was a mantel of healing on him, and a ton more. I can't remember everything, I need to listen to the tape! Then she asked if his wife was there. He told her no. Well, she said, This is for your wife and began to prophesy to me. I can't remember all he told me she said, but I know she targeted ministry to women. She said she saw a blazing fire coming forth from the ministry God had given me and that it would engulf our city and region. That women would come asking how to be saved. That strongholds would break and restoration would take place through the anointing on my life. I can't remember the other stuff. How awesome is God? To confirm the work we are doing through Feminine FIRE- and the conference we are planning for next year is WOMEN ABLAZE 2006...
Well, this morning, Craig went to the service. Yvonne was ministering again, but never got to preach because the Spirit of God was moving. Well, at one point the Lord spoke something to Craig for the Capeharts. He wrote it down and figured he'd give it to one of their team members to give to them after service, so he just tucked it into his Bible.
Yvonne was closing the service and usually hands it over to her husband so she can go back to the product table. Instead, she said, I'm going to turn this over to Pastor Sloan so he can do what God has spoke to him, then he can give it to my husband to close.
Craig took it and said God had spoken a word to him for the Capeharts and he began to prophesy to them. She began weeping and fell to the floor. He then ministered to some of her staff and team. Then her husband took it and said, We had never seen this man before last night. He knows nothing in the natural about us. This was God speaking to and through him.
When Craig went to leave, he was bombarded by a line of people wanting prayer, cards, and information about the church. It took him more than an hour to get out of the sanctuary.
This was SO God. You guys just have to know he needed this touch from God and affirmation by God that we were walking in His divine timing.
I'm so incredibly excited for you Tara. By the way, I was just returning from a conference today and at lunch told some friends about our experience (yours and mine) at the conference in Springfield.
I never forgot our promise on the bus...hope you didn't either.

That is so awesome! However, I am certain that no of us are surprised. Just from reading your posts anyone who knows God knows that He has his hand on you. I can't wait to hear more as it comes to fruition!
