Evangelistic tools

Hi, ladies

Can you give me more ideas of things you all have done evangelistically?  We are trying to move away from just knocking on people's front door.  We would like more "non-threatening"  ideas.  Dh always say we are living in perilous times, where people are more guarded and reserved b/c of terrorism.  Thanks girlz!

Please, please, please...I beg you (and I don't do this often!) to get the series, "IRRESISTIBLE EVANGELISM" put out by Steve Sjogren and the Vineyard Fellowship.  We are in the midst of doing it right now.  It's revitalizing.........life changing for your church on the very issue you speak of.  Read the book, but BETTER YET...get the teaching series (curriculum) for your church.  I don't have the number right here, but just google it and you can order it from there once you have the link. You won't be sorry!

PD is right- Irresistible Evangelism is awesome! There is also a book called 101 ways to reach your community whicb has great ideas... also servantevangelism.com has a lot on it too. My dh is awesome at servant evang.

We've done several events and have seen addition to our church due to them. The thing to remember is that you may not see immediate growth from your events BUT keep in mind that you are doing one of four things when you do SE... tilling ground, planting a seed, watering a seed, or reaping a harvest.
