I would like to ask you to pray for our ministry. We have been meeting in a community room at an apartment complex for a little more than a month now. Well, yesterday the community manager's boss found out and told us that after our Bible study last night, we can no longer meet there. This of course leaves us without a place to meet temporarily. My husband told everyone last night and we prayed together. Four members were there last night, and they were all very positive. I think God for the faith-filled response that we received.
Please agree with us in prayer that we will be able to find a place quickly and reasonably in the area that we want to be in. We still have a heart for this community, and we don't want to move outside of that area.
Jesus, I know that you have the perfect meeting place planned for Tausha and her ministry. I pray that you would reveal that location to her and her husband, and that you would move whatever obstacles are in the way of it! We believe in this ministry, and we believe that you have big plans for it.
I pray for all of us who are experiencing setbacks in our ministries, churches, and lives. I ask for a breakthrough, in Your name! Your Word says that when the power of darkness comes in, you raise up a standard against it...we ask for that standard to be raised RIGHT NOW, in Jesus' name!
*Note: I heard a speaker say once that he liked to rearrange the punctuation in that verse to read:
"When the power of darkness comes in, like a flood the LORD will raise up a standard."
So it's not the enemy that comes in like a flood...it's God! I liked that...
I am so amazed by God! Even when we expect great things, He is able to do far more than that! I have been so crazy busy trying to get things done for this weekend and working on a huge project at work that I have not even had to time post about how God has blessed us.
I want to thank each of you for your prayers for me and dh and our ministry. God truly has come in like a flood in our situation!
On Thursday I contact a gentleman who owns properties up the street from where we had been meeting. He told me about a space where the people had just moved out on Wednesday, which is the day we were told we had to leave where we were. Dh and I looked at the place, and loved it, so we met with the gentleman on Friday to sign the agreement. He did not require us to sign a lease fro a certain period of time. He said that we can lease for a short or lnog period of time, whatever we need. He also lowered the price from what he originally told me on the phone the day before. The man told us repeatedly that whatever he could do to help us, that he would.
We are painting this week and the owner is putting in new carpet for us on Friday! I am so excited.
I went to a yard sale in my neighborhood on Saturday and saw one of my other neighbor friends there. She was telling our new neighbors who were having the sale about our ministry, and they asked us if we need any pews. I of course said yes. Their church has pews that they are giving away. Isn't GOD awesome! They also gave me a keyboard that they we selling.
I could go on and on, but I think that this enough enonugh for you to see that our prayers have definitely been answered in a way that I never imagined. Ephesians 3:20 is still true! HALLELUJAH!!!
