Leaving D.V.

Hi all! I have missed you all so much. I know I am safe here.  This will shock all but one of you I am sure.  I had to take three of my four kids and leave my dh.  He has been abusing me on and off for years due to many things, but mostly due to his bondage to certain sins and his bi-polar disease which he will not treat.  When he began abusing 2 of the kids, I knew it was time to leave. I hated to do it. We are in another part of the country, safe and somewhat happy. We miss our family and freinds, but I know it was right. Please pray for us as we get established here. God Bless, Lori

Well, as I'm sure all of you have figured out, I am the one who is not shocked.  (LW had already told me prior to her leaving).  LW I know you are not able to disclose any details of your whereabouts or anything, but please advise and let us know how things are going.  I'm so glad you got out safely.  I thought it was going to take longer than it did.   How are the girls adjusting?  How did your pastor take the news?  Tell us what you can.

Love,

me

LW,

I will continue to lift you and your children up in prayer.  God has not brought you this far to leave you hanging.  I know that this is a difficult situation, but I am glad so that you were able to get your children to a safe place.

I love you girl,

Tausha

I am sorry to hear that you have had to make such a drastic change in your life, even more sorry about the circumstances that caused you to make the move, but I have immense peace knowing that you are safe.

I wanted to be sure to affirm that the gifts and callings of God are without repentence.   Very often when we go through such changes we begin to question everything including our relationship with the Lord and our calling.   Satan will try to convince you that your level of anointing is not where it should have been because you were unable to "cure" the situation.  But let me stand upon the authority of Christ and tell you that our experience brings us to the place of hope...

The oil of the anointing is most evident through the pressing of the burdens...   You are so trusted by God, you are loved, you are His very own, you are the elect of God, you are the extension of His grace in whatever atmosphere you walk in.

I love you and you are in my prayers.  If you need to talk feel free to e-mail me and I will respond...

Peace and blessings...  I pray that wherever you are that you will receive the spiritual leadership that you need to get through this difficult time.

I will be in prayer for you also.  I am thankful that you got away safely and we know God will lead and guide you now.  Even in the midst of heartache, isn't it awesome to know that nothing catches God by surprise?  He knew you would face this time befoer you did and he already knows the ultimate outcome and how He is going to be glorified in your life in spite of it all!

Blessings!

Robin

Hi ladies.  My oldest is doing ok, just called her. She says all is well at home with him, that he is changing, but he has done this before. I left for a month a long time ago, he did ok for a while, then back to the abuse again. She is being watched as is he very closely by the men in the church. My pastor said I should leave, but he is not ok about leaving him without his knowledge. However, our doctor, our best Christian friend, said it was the only safe way out. The girls are ok. We are in need of a home and a job, and a brain surgeon.  We need money, and have found a good church already.  The girls are sad about leaving, but have blossemed in the safety here and are making new relationships, as am I. Will talk with you all again. Thanks for your prayers, Love, lw
