Just would like to request prayer for my 9 1/2 mo old baby girl. She was born w/ a cleft palate ( a hole in her mouth.) She is scheduled for surgery next Monday, May 23, at Shands Hospital, in Gainesville. We've gone through the same surgery w/ my middle child who was also born w/ a cleft palate. I know what to expect but I'm still extremely nervous. The surgery is fairly routine and will last about 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Her face (mouth, ears, nose) will be swolen & bloody, but recovery time is truly remarkable. She should be eating foods again in 2 days.
I truly need peace. I am so nervous. I keep reviewing Scripture in my head and feel better momentarily. I covet your prayers right now, and especially for my precious angel -- Hannah.
We will remember your little princess in prayer. Remember, God has brought you through this in the past. You can count on Him again!!!
Jesus, I pray that your miracle working power would touch this precious child, Hannah, right now. Calm and comfort this child every moment of this journey. Give her parents a calm assurance that she will come through this with flying colors. Let your healing power flow. We know you are the healer, the provider, the sustainer of all things in our life. We thank you for this child and the incredible plan you have for her life. Thank you for making her whole in every way, in your name ~ amen.
Father and great Physcian, we lift up this precious one to your throne and ask that your will be done in her surgery. Please be with this mom and dad as they wait. Guide the hands of the surgery team and watch over all proceedings. Please grant healing to this pracious one and peace to this family. We love you Lord and ask all in your holy name.amen
I am praying with and for you that the overwhelming peace of God that surpasses all thoughts and causes every vain imagination to be cast down and destroyed will so powerfully overtake you and that you will know that this has taken place because as you walk into the hospital you will see the brightest smile on the face of a child to remind you that God has ministering angels already at work on your behalf.
I am praying that you receive a visual example of God's ministering spirit so that it can stick with you for those hours that you will have to wait... Not just a feeling to overwhelm you but I want you to see something that day - not that you require a sign - so that you can KNOW that it is God. I perceive that you BELIEVE that God is going to do a great thing, but I want you to KNOW that He is working it out for your good.
