House prayer request

I ask you ladies to keep us in your prayers tonight. We are looking at leasing to buy a house in our historic downtown area. We are very unsastified with our current rent home (very very nasty carpet that wont come clean) keeps us from having anyone over. This house is perfect for my business and family. Is a good fair price. And is only $75 more a month than we currently pay and a portion will be applied toward our purchase. So we are supposed to call this gentleman back tomorrow and let him know what we want to do. He has already come down from $650 to $575 and it is an old historic home but it has had major structural repair so I feel good about it. Roof was relaced two years ago as well as much of the flooring. We will need to have insulation blown but that can be done over the long haul. We have been married for ten years this summer and have been renting the whole time. Here is our chance, since our credit is not that great, to get a home, downtown where we want to be, for not much more than we pay now. And since I am building my credit with the purchase of my commercial machine, I know we will get a loan after a lease of 1-2years. So just pray that we will get direction. we need to move before the next month to save rent here you know. Say a prayer for us. Thanks

Cassandra

I believe that you have favor with God and with man, so I am in agreement with you that the home that you want will be yours.   Be blessed!  I am praying for you!

Good news ladies. We are looking a different house. We are glad we didnt settle with something that wasnt exactly what we wanted. We mentioned the house to a couple in our church just in casual conversation and they mentioned a house next to them (just three blocks on the same street from the house we were looking at) we looked at the house and it is so cute and $50,000 less than the first house I mentioned. Rent is $275 and everything we spend to fix it up comes off the purchase price. Cant beat tha deal with a stick It is only two bedrooms but has attic space and a full basement we will renovate. It is a cute brick house. So we are about to purchase our first home. We are excited to be able to do some HGTV things too! Right down my alley!

Cassandra - Woo Hoo!!!  How exciting!

Buying a house is so much fun...DH and I bought a fixer-upper with lots of "HGTV" potential, too.  Slowly but surely it's coming togther...
