So compared to all the other requests we see on here, mine may seem a little minor, but hang in there with me:
I feel like I am fighting a cold (or allergies - you never can tell with me, lol!).
It feels significant because God is doing some awesome things through kids' ministry in my church - Wednesday night I announced to our leaders in a meeting that we will be teaching the kids about the Baptism in the Holy Spirit this Sunday. That same night, three boys were filled in a Royal Rangers class simply because one kid asked, "What's Pentecostal?" Which led to an explanation. Which led to prayer...
By later that night, two minor issues had cropped up that ended up being blown way out of proportion. I resolved those and went on my merry way...but then started feeling absolutely LOUSY about halfway through yesterday.
Still not feeling the best now, even after taking some medicine for it.
I do not normally see demons around every corner, but I am really feeling like the enemy is trying to stop a move of God with one stupid thing after another. Like he thinks he can stop me with a cold...
But I am asking for prayer for healing so that God will be glorified. For all loose ends to be tied up so that we don't have anything "minor" hanging over our heads going into Sunday morning, so that we can just concentrate on what God wants to do.
Definately praying. I just spent 12 weeks on the Holy Spirit and covered every aspect. IN those 12 weeks we have been hit hard. Me personally and our family, with illness after illness and other issues of vehicles breaking down, financial things....
But let me tell you things are moving! I have seen growth in our kids. We have no kids filled with the spirit but definately growth. Our children's ministry is growing and God is giving me new and exciting things to do with them. Our church is also growing. My husband was teaching on the Holy Spirit at the same time. Not as long but half the time.
God is going to get the glory for these teachings! God just reach down and heal my sister in Christ so that You Lord are glorified and the children can be ministered to! Amen

The service rocked!!! God gave me back my voice/health long enough to preach for two services, and the majority of our kids were really touched by God. Not sure how many were filled...but the prayer time was amazing, anyway.
Unfortunately, I did push myself too hard over the weekend and am now suffering with a severe cold/head flu. I'm in the office today, but I told my pastors, "Unless God performs a major miracle overnight, I will not be in tomorrow."
We have our missions banquet this Saturday, and I need to kick this before I have to go serve food to children, lol! So I am forcing myself to take it easy - I will venture out of my home tomorrow long enough to vote, and then will go back into hiding.
The cold/flu virus has morphed into a sinus and ear infection. I am on some super powerful antibiotics and am suffering from 100% of the "possible side effects."
Please pray for complete healing and rest - I haven't slept through an entire night in...I don't even know how long anymore. Thanks!!!!
