What God is Doing in IL

Haven't really been on the board for awhile now but have checked in on the posts and Deanna's blog.  We are 3 months in our new church... which is a perfect fit for us, an outreach minded church full of young families and imperfect people who love God.
We have started to have Sunday night services focused on taking our time and worshipping God without hurrying through and we have been seeing God really move.  Each week their have been healings. Last night a 70 year old lady who had asked for prayer for sleeplessness suddenly started jumping up and down saying 'I can hear". My dh was praying for her and asked her if she had had sinus problems affecting her hearing and she told him that when she was 10 yrs old the doctor removed half of her eardrum and she was totally deaf in the left ear.  She can now hear through it!  This is a radical thing for this church... God is working and the devil is fighting.  My car got hit last week in a store parking lot and the person drove away.... the next week it got hit again on the back side in the same way! I don't care if it means that I stay humble before God and focused on what He is blessing us with here.

WOW!  PRAISE GOD!  That is so awesome what God is doing.  Boy does satan hate it when he starts losing his grasp on people.

Where in IL are you located?  I too am in IL, Southern, about 40 mins from Carbondale.

Don't forget us "northern tip" people - I'm in Zion (well, I live in Kenosha, but my church is in Zion!)...seriously, I think a "Midwestern Pastoring Partners get-together" is definitely in order!

Not sure where Carmi is or Evansville.  We are in Creal Springs just south of Marion.  Would love to get together sometime and just talk, pray and build some friendships.

We are about 45 mins from Harrisburg I think.  I'd love to meet you half way.  We will have to plan it around our schedules.  I have 4 children and my husband has to work outside the ministry.  I am unable to drive right now.  Just had knee surgery on June 4th.  I am hoping to get clearance to drive sometime this week.  Visit my blog sometime  www.thediaperheads-kellyfamily.blogspot.com

Deanna- would love to sit and have coffee and chat with you!  Everyone on here is definitly invited to coffee and a chat session!
