Just wanted to say hello to you all. I'm so glad to have found a women pastor's board. I feel so isolated most of the time. I'm a single pastor in a new church start-up. I appreciate any prayers and encouragement. Look forward to getting to know you all!

Welcome! You'll have to attend the Unstoppable conference too some year! I co-pastor with my husband. But I truly admire women who are the head pastor and to be single too...wow! There's a couple woman pastors in my area and one was single for a very long time. God bless your ministry.
Not single - very happily married...BUT I am the only licensed pastor in my house! Which makes for a confusing situation at times. I am currently a staff pastor (children, to be precise).
I'm a pastor, too -- not single, however. My husband has always hauled sound equipment and kept track of my CDs, handbag and kleenix!
Right now, I pastor a small congregation and I'm filling in at a church 9 miles away until the district appoints a new pastor for that small mission church.
My kids (adults) call me the "Circuit Riding Preacher" and tease me about my trusty steed, and the Bible in my saddlebags. Ha! Pastoring two churches isn't easy, but it's temporary and we're praying that the district find a pastor right away--like this week. Ha!
