Bible studies

I need some input on some great Bible studies for women.  I have heard Beth Moore is great.  I have just finished on of her books but it doesn't make for a great study.  I need a few studies that can span the ages.  Our ladies are primarily widows, women who's husband do not attend and are over 60.  I really feel called to do this.  I have been praying for weeks and I can't shake it.  Honestly knowing the group of ladies I am not sure who or how many will come but I don't really care.  Well I care but even if its just two of us or even 3 I just want who God wants there!  I know of two women who are interested and one has opened up her home for this.  I am thinking about starting it in Jan possible Dec.  Just depends.
If you all know of some great studies I would surely appreciate any ideas!  I have considered studying the women of the Bible and the Names of Jesus.
Thanks ladies!smile

I lead a ladies group at our church and they span from 19years to 75years widow and lots of ladies whose husbands dont serve. we are working on a Beth Moore series living beyond yourself, this deals with the Holy Spirit. the ladies are finding that it is speaking into their lives where they are at. We have work books in which we do homework (wonderful seeing the girls grow as they hit Gods word to do their homework) and we watch her DVD when we meet once a week. I find that the most ministry takes place as the girls share their struggles when we discuss the homework. Also the Holy Spirit is moving so much in all our lessons that you come away so filled up. I pray that you find the right one for your girls, I believe the Holy Spirit will lead you in the right direction, but maybe just check this one out its very profound. love always mesmile

OUr PW taught Lisa Bevere's "Fight Like a Girl" last fall - also to a very diverse group of ladies (diverse in age, ethnicity, marital status, etc!).  I was busy with Missionettes, so I didn't go, but the class got rave reviews...

I would recommend "Qualified for Inheritance #2" by Bishop Tony Miller

Any servant can reap a harvest, but only a mature son can receive an inheritance. Tony Miller contends that God is challenging the church to move from a harvest mentality to an inheritance mentality.

Becoming Destiny Drive is Now Available!
Many of you have been asking how you can obtain a copy of "Becoming Destiny Driven," my new interactive workbook study. Well, it is now made it available!

Here is a little about the book...

Destiny is no matter of chance. It is a matter of choice: It is not a thing to be waited for, it is a
thing to be achieved. William Jennings Bryan

As a driven person I know first hand what it is like to see something you want, chase it down, embrace it and tame it. On the other hand, I also know the pain and frustration of hitting
roadblock after roadblock in an attempt to reach a destination!

On the other hand, I also know the pain and frustration of hitting roadblock after roadblock in an attempt to reach a destination! Through the highs and lows of my own experiences I have found that often times we fail to be driven because we have nothing to drive us or we opt for a leisurely stroll instead! Personally, a leisurely stroll is not enough for me and since you have
picked up this booklet, Id say strolling is not for you either!

Deep within you there is a not enough for me and since you have picked up this booklet, Id say strolling is not for you either! Deep within you there is potential, possibility for something more than just living. The key to tapping into your destiny begins simply by starting the discovery process. The discovery process will pull you out of your comfort zone, tap into God ordained
possibilities, and discover the greatness that lies inside!

If you are looking for the fulfillment of your destiny in Christ, start here. Realize what He
placed inside of you and stop short of nothing to achieve the greatness that is you!

Here are a couple of excerpts...

Excerpt #1

A vision is a clear picture of the future, it is a possibility of what can be and should be. It is a destination. If your vision cannot be defined, there is a good chance you dont have one. People who have a clear vision end up somewhere on purpose. A vision is a glimpse of Gods possibilities for your life. Vision is seeing something that does not yet exist as though it does. It is the ability to see beyond the present circumstances and where present circumstances may lead. Vision is future oriented.

Excerpt #2

Think about the difference between a lit match and a roaring fire. The lit match generates very little heat and fades away quickly. But a roaring fire will generate much heat producing power that will affect the atmosphere and anyone who comes in contact with it. Passion is just like fire, the more you have the bigger impact you will make!

One of my favorite quotes is Know Gods dream for your life. Get The Picture. Big. Bigger. Fill up your mind, heart and life with it. Now make that vision consume your life every thought every conversation everything around you.

Now THAT is passion! That is VISION! That is DESTINY! Allow passion for your God ordained destiny to consume you and become a fiery blaze that will affect everything and everyone you come in contact
with!

If you are in need of a nudge or a push toward becoming driven by your destiny be sure to pick up this resource... you won't regret it!
