Went to a great conference yesterday!

Hello all!

We got up at 5AM yesterday and went a great pro-life conference in Maryland!

One of the most awsome speakers there was a Pastor who was put into  A FEDERAL PRISON for giving a lady a Bible and saying things like, "Would you like me to pray with you Miss?". The lady in question threw her arms around this Pastor's neck and thanked him and said that nobody in the world ever gave her a Bible and she was very touched by his love for her.  This poor man lost his home and in the end, spent a million dollars, much donated by Christians, on his defense. Bill Clinton himself sent a Rep. from his Justice Dept. the day the Supreme Court heard this case to try and keep this Pastor in jail.  He spent 2 months in jail, but in the end, God saw fit to touch the judges and they freed him!

It was so touching to hear him give his testimony.....he said that if you are a busy Pastor, who is having a hard time keeping up, make sure you do not get put in jail!! He said that he was never as busy on the outside than when he went to jail!!! He said he prayed with men from dawn until lights out, almost non-stop for 2 months! Men were saved there and he thanked God for the chance to be there. It was so great! Just wanted to share that. love, lw

Was this at a protest at an abortion clinic (you said it was a pro-life conference, so I'm assuming...)?

What was the reason for his getting put in jail?

It was very much down the street that leads to the clinic and other businesses. It was not a protest. Just people praying with lost people for salvation. Because the clinic was in the neighborhood, he was arrested for interfeiring with business at the clinic. At least, that's what I understand to be the case. No signs and stuff, just Pastors and ladies on a side walk praying for people in a very poor section of the city. lw

Ya know, that just proves that "pro-choice" isn't about choice at all!  I mean, this pastor had no agenda other than praying for people, and people still got all paranoid that he was violating a "woman's right to choose."  If women really do have the right to choose, then they have the right to choose NOT to abort, and they have the right to choose Jesus!!

And the fact that Bill Clinton tried to keep him in jail makes me ill.  So glad I never voted for the man!
