Okay, ladies, I just have to tell you what my 7 year old, Savanna Rose did today. ARE YOU READY FOR THIS?
I went shopping with my church ladies to the outlets. We were getting as much early Christmas shopping done as possible. So, while I am at Kaybee Toys I call Savanna at home and ask her about some things she wanted. I said, "Hey, what were some of the things you were asking for this Christmas?" She said, "Hold on a minute Mom, let me pull it up in Microsoft Word." (I'm not kidding you!!!) She went to the computer desk, clicked on word, opened up her file that SHE had typed, and read me a list of no less than 50 things. It was soooooooooooo funny.
The crazy thing is, I type EVERYTHING (I hardly ever write anymore, because I type as fast as I think.) I even type my grocery list, which most people are shocked by. It saves me time. I don't have time to write all that stuff down. The lady behind the deli counter says to me, "OH MY WORD, I THINK THAT'S THE FIRST TYPED GROCERY LIST I'VE EVER SEEN!!!"
So, here is my little sweetie, making her own typed list. The other day she made a list, "Decorating Ideas for Christmas." I looked at it, and there were about 25 items on there, all for the church. It seems she was trying to help me out in deciding what we are doing this year.
