My DH just got a job working in a house for boys who have been abused and/or removed from the foster care system. The team who staffs the house is there to help the boys transition back to a normal living situation.
He is really excited about this, because he was looking for a job where he would be helping to make a difference - banking just wasn't it!
I don't have a whole lot more details - he's getting fingerprinted and background checked as we speak, so I'm assuming his start date will be after all that comes through clean.
Now I'm praying that I pass my road test in September and that we can somehow obtain a second care - this job is 2nd shift, and my office hours are, of course, 1st shift! I know that my SP will be flexible with my hours temporarily, but honestly, it's going to be a huge pain until we just plain have two cars...
But...YAY!!! Two incomes...health insurance...dental and vision...God ROCKS!!!
Wow, that is so awesome! I am so happy for you. I know you will do great on your test. And happy car shopping...I will pray the Lord has just the right deal for you.
