The May/June issue of Today's Christian Woman carries an article written by a woman who has a son in prison.  Read it at:

She talks about sitting in the court room listening to the judge sentence her son to 30 years of prison. She foundd herself in a prison of guilt and shame. 

This article could definitely help if you are counseling (of have in your church) people who sit outside the bars. Facing a child's, or a spouse's incarceration has to be so painful. Imagine the helplessness.

Just wanted to share this.
