Just popping in to let everyone know I'm still alive...feeling much more "at peace" than I did before.  Not that anything in my life has particularly changed, but I'm just trying to remember every day that God is with me!!

DH has applied for jobs at four different places, so we're playing the waiting game now.  We're going to "disappear" for a couple of days while we still have some money, lol...just a short little mini-vacation since we can't afford the full vacation we'd originally planned.  Maybe later this summer...

Please keep DH in your prayers - he is really trying to figure out what he's supposed to do with his life job/career wise!  Obviously, Corporate America isn't it...that's been made painfully clear to us.  But he's really trying to hear the voice of God and not just apply for any old job.  At the same time...we need money!  God knows his heart, and He knows our needs, so I am trying to trust that He knows what He's doing...

As far as our best friends go, it sounds like they're going to move to a town where he can transfer within the company he works.  With a baby on the way, they need to be in a place where they can for sure have health coverage.  So...they'll be taking a break from the ministry for awhile - all opportunities seem to have dried up.  On the bright side, they'll be only two hours from us.  But even though God has given her peace about it, I know she's going to go nuts not being a youth pastor!  So I'm praying for ministry opportunities to come her way wherever they are, even if she can't get paid for it for the time being :o).
